You guys must visit the updated Around in Ten website, it has got loads of new info
    http://www.aroundinten.com/index.html

I find this kind of thing very inspirational, we are all spoiled to think that you can only go to sea in a floating Gin Palace.

Better start to build small boats and get out there while you can. If the rest of the world gets maritime laws like the Australians have got, you will end up in jail for using a paddle ski.

PLEASE CAN SOMEBODY TRANSLATE to English the story printed of the old man in his small boat???

Here it goes guys I'll do by best):D

"Dying of laughter, the russian adventurer Evgeny Gvoznev, 68, set sail from this port on his round the world trip on a ten feet boat on which he has undergone more adventures than Indiana Jones. The big guy, after repairing his small craft called Said, which means friend in Arabic, set his bow on a northerly course, for his next stop will be Iquique to soon get to Arica. From there he'll go to Tahiti and Australia and then finally to Russia, his homeland. Gvoznev, a mechanical engineer by training, set sail in May 1999 from a port in the republic of Daguestan, former Soviet Union."

I'm not shure about the "dying of laughter" part but the rest is very much in the ball park.

    Cheers to all
