    As no proper tutorial is available, the best way to learn Maxsurf is to play with the sample files given with the demo.
    Open any file and drag the comtrol points and see how the net changes and its effect in Profile, Plan, Body Plan and The Perspective , also render and see the changes in the gausian curvature.
    Last year I got a project to design a Bulk carrier, I was new to maxsurf (I am a student not a pro) and I designed the bulkcarrier from the sample container given with maxsurf. Its is easier edit a existing file then to start a ship from scrap in Maxsurf.
    See if you feel the same.

    So Rhino is easier than Maxsurf right? but both have the same function?
