    Welcome Chris,

I am sure "popping" has a different meaning in your part of the world than in mine (at least I hope so), but which meaning???
    Do you know another word?

    Regards
    Richard
    a hint:
We need a male and a female for popping.

Thank you for opening my eyes!

Did not know that term. And having absolutely no clue about fishing, I will stay out of here!

The ratio you gave in post #1 seems good. Have you worked up plans or drawings? What is expected capacity, freeboard, hull shape and materials? Do you have photos of similar boats?
