arneson surface drive overhaul

    Has Anyone Overhauled Their Arneson Surface Drive (1721 Or Asd 6) & Know The Proper Way To Remove The Big Plastic Retainer On The Thrush Tube & Where To Get Parts Without Being ***** ?

    Yes, use the correct Arneson wrench and the proper technique and you won't be ***** by anyone, or at least on the Arneson side of things.

    If you do not have the service wrench we have them in stock.

    Can anybody cross reference these #'s from borg warner seals to national seal ?
    The borg warner #s are 10-00-044-040
    10-00-044-041
    10-00-044-043
    10-00-044-044 These are the seals in a surface drive & I can't find good website with these numbers !

    special wrench

    Bought the wrench from arneson & in 45 second it was in two pieces & the nylon retainer nut - well it was still on as tight as before ! some days it just don't pay to get out BED!
