    djaus Salted Nut!

One of the 2 sister ships that ferry freight & passengers between Tasmania & Melbourne. The departure is unique as the ship must perform a full 180 degree turn to exit the Mersey river in Devonport.
I specifically timed a fishing trip on my Hartley to coincide with the departure of the ship. The first video I made of the ship leaving port a couple of years ago was filmed on a crappy camera phone & I've been meaning to redo the video for a while.

    So here it is, enjoy.
