class type approval for 12V71TI

    Dear All

    am building now new work boat 19 meter and am going to fix two engine 12v71TI Detroit

    but we need class type approval for this engine even if its expired.

    am trying to contact the classes but the problem is the class doesn't have the expired certificates specially the GM as a maker for marine engine is stopped.

    MTU America has the product rights to the Detroit Diesel Marine 2 cycle product. Google them and ask for the information there.

    thanks for your reply; but i contacted MTU South Africa and they told me they don't have :(.
