The black one is the speedo pickup tube.

    Thank you for that.
Do you know what the grey one is for?

The very first part you should buy for this engine, is the service manual. It's the best $30 bucks you'll ever spend on it. There are online versions, but they're a lot hard to work with, though the pages will not get too greasy with time.

The grey one is the water pressure tube, if you have a gauge.

I do heartily agree with you. The service manual is the first thing to buy after acquiring a car, an outboard, a motorcycle, and a lot of things. Even the ownerś manual has its use. However very few read it.
One of my neighbors was traveling with a cousin who has a Ford Ranger 2003. They have has a small accident in a village in Yucatan. The car refuses to start, no more electricity, no one knows what to do. No cellular signal. He calls for a towing with the lone radio-phone of the village. The truck comes 2 hours later from 50 km and tows the car 50 km again to Tizimín the next town. A very, very expensive towing around 300 bucks from nowhere to almost nowhere.
The Tizimín mechanic, a true grease monkey, asks for 20 bucks, he's paid, he opens the right front door, lift the carpet and resets the shock sensitive breaker. A reparation of less than one minute. He starts the car. And says quietly to the owner; next time, read the owner's manual and keep it in the car, it has been written for that.
