Hey everyone, I'm having some trouble findind a suitable fix to my aluminum windsheild frame problem. The frame is in fair shape. Some small, localized pitting. But the easy out, ( powder coating ) has at least one major draw back. The coating may go on too thick to allow the frame to interlock for installation.

The frames have channels at their corners to permit interlocking without visable fastners.

Don't Know if I should have the pieces stripped in a chem bath or just sand and paint.

The powder coat seams like the best finish, also might hide some imperfections.

    any thoughts?

    Thank You
