Egan 9.5 looks like it knows what time it is, does it fold easy to trailer size 8'6 ?

    demountable

Catri26r, she's a demountable rather than a folder, can be assembled using man power but her tow vehicle is a small crane truck to save on lifting injuries & to make life easier, I believe that the towing width is 2.5 metres & fits the desciption of trailerable. Regards from Jeff.:)

Is this a historical list, or a list of current designs? Is it plans or commercial builds?

I always like Argonauta, and B2 by Newick, though I am saying that from a mostly inland perspective of big lakes. Cruising vs. racing.

Does the L7 reduce to 8' 4" on the trailer without demounting it? Sounds like it on the site, just had a feeling a slip design...

My Chris White-designed Hammerhead 34 is demountable and 8.5' wide when transported. But I would never call it trailerable, although it has traveled thousands of miles by road - in the company of a professional boat-mover. It requires a crane or fork lift to demount the boat and put it back together.

So I think you need to distinguish between boats that are foldable on the water, boats that can be demounted and prepared for travel without outside assistance, and boats that require the services of a boatyard to demount and prepare for travel.
