Hi guys, I'm building a fishing boat that is over 6 meters in length. The fuel tank I'm making can hold up to 350 litres. What do you Guys think? Should I keep it at its current size, or make it less than 350 litres, around 150 litres?

    Thanks

Without knowing the fuel consumption and what range you hope to achieve it is impossible to answer.

We need more info. What grade of aluminum are you using? Is it gasoline or diesel?

The weight of the fuel in the full tank matters. If you are doing long expeditions, then the larger tank makes sense in spite of the sacrifice in performance etc. . If you are going to go fishing for an afternoon the smaller tank is the better option. Kind'a depends on the purpose and use of the boat.

350 liters is over 90 gallons

typically a 20’ boat running a modern 4 stroke will exceed 2 mpg so, this means a range of 200 miles, the excess fuel of 350 over 150 liters is 50 gallons~ the weight is 300 pounds, so in general terms, the 350 liter tank is too big
