    Only in South Africa..

I believe every country have its fair share, but here are a few from my country to start things off :)

This one says everything about the incompetence of the current government here and the result of affirmative action imposed on labour

No need to describe this classic

And this from a campsite (I can relate to this issue for sure)

And this one taken at a boat launch (OK, this makes the thread boat related ;))

    and more of the same...

Our roads are so riddled with potholes due to total ignorance of maintaining them for the past 18 years by current government, because that will leave less available for the corrupt officials and the gravy train they ride and feed from. On some roads motorists actually ride of the dirt shoulder and not on the potholed riddled tar top.
Here are some in honour of pot holes.

The crux it that the (wrong) distance stated on this sign is actually prophetic and covers about the distance of the roads in SA.

And this hilarious one say all

An average size pothole with classic affirmative action ability shown in signs used...

and finally, the spelling confirms the affirmative action issues mentioned;)

This sign is probably unique to South Africa and is at a picturesque town called Lydenburg at the foot of the famous (57km) Long Tom pass to Sabie. I actually stayed there for 5 years in some distant past during the early 80's

and here is a clear case of affirmative shopping (at the expense of tax payers)

I'm afraid I didn't capture an image of this one but it made me laugh.

CHEW CONSTRUCTION erected one of their signs near a work site.

No big deal accept there was a bite sized chunk missing from one corner!
