olson 30 sprit

    i am looking into adding a sprit to my olson 30 to fly genackers & asymetricals, does anyone have concept ideas? antoine

    I'm working on a deck mount for my boat. It will look something like the attached pic. The pole will slide through the two chocks (3:1 out, bungee return), maybe a thin teflon bearing on the inner surface of the chocks.

    The bolts will have to go though the deck to some sort of tie rod arragement, especially the forward one. These poles get a lot of upward force. Your O30 has a balsa core so you'll probably want to drill out the area around the through bolts and fill solid epoxy so you don't crush the core.
