20 ft bertram transom replacement

    hi every1, need some advice on replacing the transom on my 1969 sportsman , read where cutting the outer skin off to rebuild but my transom is very concave question will it work o.k. or do i need to cut the inside..any1 ever did a 20 ft moppie or a sportsman thinking both hull are similar....ty for any help

    Cut the inside and use a flexible core material. cutting the outside will leave you with lots of extra work finishing. Nida core has worked well for my transom.
