Adhesive for laminating two sheets of plywood

    While flat bottomed there is an downturn in the bow area. If the piece was a single 18mm/3/4 inch it might be very difficult to pull the bow hull sheet down to the stem.
    2 - 12mm, if the first was screwed down and then the second put over the first would allow an easier bend. (though a thicker and heavier bottom)
    I agree that either 18 or 24 finished thickness and then adding fiberglass will make a bullet proof hull bottom.

    Pulling a single stiff 18mm sheet down will require the screws to be constantly loaded.

    Does anyone think that an 18mm- 3/4 inch ply can be pulled into the curve as shown above? (without a lot of preload?)

    You can kerf the 18mm and fill with thickened resin.
