    1kg? Should have got a carbon one. I'm sure Gunboat will sell you one for $10,000.00.

    Those cheap & nasty plastic chairs are becoming powder in a year in much of Australia, then one day soon after they dump you on the deck on your arras.

    Best to shorten the legs for boat use, they are not very stout, unless you are a diminutive woman!
    They do stack, maybe foam or glue two together for strength?

    It is plastic to prevent the helmsperson from getting electrocuted by the open non-gfci protected outlet. It conforms to SE Asia standards.
