Hi I'm a student at Plymouth university, England. I have been set the task of submitting a design for the sail, dagger board and rudder for a contender but don't have any previous sailing experience to base my desing on. It is group work and my part is the submerged aerofoils. Does anyone have a few rough dimensions that I can work with? Also can you suggest calculations I should make? Thanks

The class rules can be found at www.contenderclass.org the parameters of the centreboard and rudder are covered but there does appear to be a little latitude for refinements.
