    Hi,

I would like to know how do we calculate the strength of a deck? How do we know precisely how much load can we put on a deck supported with frames and side girders?

Go to www.eagle.org and download the rules for the type of craft you are interested in.

In the BV rules, the design load calculated is divided into sea pressures and internal pressures which is also divided into still water pressure & internal pressure. from the acquired design loads, how can we defined how much load can be carried on the deck which is stiffened with a transverse web and three girders?
