i havent been drawing lately as much as i would have liked...
i like to try and compare the various software and seasolution seems to be a very proffesional program, the demo keeps working and in time i'll try more. same goes for maxsurf, looks and works very good as well, than there is rhino, mech desk, inventor and more, it takes some time/study.

rite now i'm into d.i.y. mechanical enginering and building a small boat -again- that takes time! some of this time could have been saved with more calculated and detailed drawings i learn, yeah, let me draw, i sure like that (and better than sandpapering) but maybe i'm missing your point...?

sorry polar, havent drawn a hull in rhino yet, did try to find back your 20 steps samples, where to find?

if I can to draw so well, skilful as it is done by you - PC would be not necessary for me.

thanks for the compliment, pencil drawings can still be handy but the PC is here to stay and you are the master in CADCAM, i only a student.

Hydrostatics in SeaSolution

Hi!

Is anybody knows something about Hydrostatics calculations in SeaSolution?

 

If this module no on a site, it's in a development stage.
Year back I saw large part of it in work. I wait for it too.

SeaSolution + Shipconstructor - is it possible?

Is it possible to use Shipconstructor together with SeaSolution? May be somebody have any experience.

didnt try the new version but the one one i downloaded before.
looking very complete it is actually workable, there is no saving though, others demo's have limited saving, file formats etc.
glad i did not buy this or that program as we can be shure of an update
