i am interested in any information available on abaco sailing dinghys.
i have a 12' boat, with a tag inscribed "authenic abaco dinghy replica".
i know that this boat is at least 25 years old and is constructed of
fiberglass. it has an aluminum mast and boom, but no tiller or centerboard,
as they are missing. I acquired this boat in south florida many years ago.

if anyone knows anything about this boat, i'd appreciate hearing from you.

I have a print of an Abaco dinghy that I picked up in Man-o-War Key, Abacos about 20 years ago. It's go a great water color of the boat with a lines drawing above. The title says Abaco Dinghy / LOA 12'3 / Beam 4'11"/Built by Maurice Albury, Man-o-War Cay, Bahamas, 1952 / Artist Yvon le Corre / Lines D.W. Dillion.

If you like I can de-frame it, scan it and email the scan. You may also want to get a hold of Albury's in Man-o-War. Super friendly people. They still build boats. It seems everyones named Albury in Man-o-War, but get a hold of anyone and they can aim you in the right direction. Also try searching the web Man-o-War and Albury.

I had the pleasure of having a half model carved by a MR Albury about 12 years ago.

The boat shop was there and ,
    still building small custon boats.

I'm sure any mail would get to him at ,

    "Maurice Albury, Man-o-War Cay, Bahamas"

should you wish to purchase a small vessel.
