A40RC ORC Hull offset file wanted

    Hi There, does anyone by chance have a A40RC 2008 mk1 ORC Hull Offset file please
    I would like to do some orc sail optimization

    You are asking for proprietary information that they are not likely to provide. If you have one, scanning the hull is possible without too much expense.

    Yes i realise i may well have to do this....a friend managed to get a file for his boat...hence was worth the ask to save scanning

    How will the hull lines plan help you with the sails?

    How could you design the sails of a sailboat without knowing the shapes of the hull?

    It is a production boat. The sails are already designed.

    @gonzo, that means, from my point of view, that sail are still not fully designed.

    A project that has not been attempted to optimize, in any sense (asking that is trying to go off on a tangent), should not be considered finished. (Optimize as far as you are capable or consider sufficient, because probably another designer could improve it still, or even yourself at another time)
