    Steve - I think the appearance of more and more spin-offs from the original 118 - ie the 65, the tender etc, demonstrates that there are plenty of people out there willing to part with enormous wads of cash, and their 1st priority is that they want to stand out from the crowd.
    Obviously, I've never been aboard a Wally - be it sail or power - but I'm a big fan of their styling (usually....). However, above all else, a boat must be safe to operate and quite apart from the shortcomings that I mentioned above, my immediate response when I see a boat like that, with all straight lines and sharp edges / corners, is that I'd hate to try to move around on one whilst it was underway for fear of permanent injury. Then again, I guess few of these boats ever travel more than a couple of miles from their home port, so it probably doesn't matter.... :(
