This morning the 14:th of january 2004, a baby girl was born at 01.14 am.

Her name will be Myra and she will strike terror in every sailor on any sea.

Matchracing the Moth with dad (ghood size for a deckhand on a Moth i think) in the summer. And she will also be of much use when slightly adjusting my spline wheights on the drafting table when I'm not around.

    Good Times! :D :D :D

    Congrats Eric!

I'm not far behind...Expect to have my new V-15 crew out in the open in the next few weeks. Perhaps we'll get them together at some Opti event in a few years. Think of the possibilities!

I hope you have as much luck as I did with my daughter. For example, this Spring we were remodeling the house and she rather sleep in the floor for a month rather than delaying launching her boat. She made me proud :)

I'm fortunate enough that the two I already have and the wife likes to sail, so I do hope Myra will to.
The drawback when they all like to sail is that it's harder to find the time to go racing as much as I'd like to...

Well you take the good with the bad...
And if they didn't like to sail...
What on earth would I do then...

    :D :D

If she doesn't like to sail she can tend the lines when you leave the dock :D
