a multihull design riddle

I'm bored, until someone spells out something truly novel.
We've had this conversation so many times over the years.
You need to bring the hulls together somehow.
Straight in: Cat to fold etc
Rrotate in the vertical plane: Sango wizard etc half rotation as in that TFJ boat
Parallelogram vertical or horizontal
Rotate vertically.
As said my solution was to put the folding mechanism on the trailer to position the bits then bolt together. Yes it doesn't fold on water but it cheap allows a boat with few design limitations and little extra weight. Everything is a tradeoff.

berths/cabins are 5x7, but boat folds to 5.5, so cabins must be oriented with long dimension fore/aft
each cabin must have views in 4 directions, therefore must sit atop hulls
each cabin must have views in 4 directions, therefore must be stacked or staggered (I of course chose the latter)

Guzzi. One simple single movement on a horizontal plane; no scissor action, which seems needlessly complicated and not needed. Can be spread, fastened, and seaworthy in about 10 minutes. Raising of the bi mast four jib setup another 10 minutes. All done on the water.

Sounds like a parallelogram. Could be 2 piece beams, dragonfly style with just a beam in the middle not a hull. Dunno. As I say yawn. The folding geometry isn't the problem. Engineering the joins, making it operate smoothly (sliding beam trailers!) and durable in a salt water environment are the real problems. And cost...
The first question in a boat that size is why not a tri ? Unless you have a specific problem to solve one of Ray Kendrick's trimarans just sort the problem.
If you specifically want a cat then why not Wizard or Sango ? The only reason I would not build a Sango is my preference for a head over a porta potti. They are race winners, great cruising boats great sail boats, they tick an awful lot of boxes.

There's no point in engaging with this forum in this manner. If you have a good idea, it's best to just present it so others can critique it, improve it, implement it, etc. Positing a riddle is not constructive and only invites ridicule.

2 queen size inflatable mattresses connected with sticks duct taped securely. Old bed sheets to be hung from vertical sticks duct taped securely for privacy. The total vessel length to be attained by a bowsprit constructed of a stick duct taped securely. WARNING Patent Pending.
I like it. With inflatable mattresses it could actually work! Who says riddles aren't constructive?
