Could it have been someone who was watching you and knew exactly where and when to go?

If the thief had applied that tenacity, energy, inteligence, dedication, toward some productive goal, they could have earned enough to buy what they stole several times over.
Some people don't have rudders or a compass. They lack a direction in their life.

Car windows are left down and the keys are usually left in the Ign. You can move it if they have parked over you or just push it, never leave the hand brake on or in Park.

Cant really steal a car as you cant get it off the Island without reg papers.

However thats not the case for houses, fishing rods pushed through open windows and the security bars can easily hook stuff , watches, pottery silly things.

Always buy a TV bigger than your windows.

It should be illegal for a scrap dealer to buy a catalytic. This is the problem, being able to sell so easy.

In Phuket silly thieves keep stealing the wires to the Tsunami warning siren .

Tsunamis happen approx once a century if your lucky. The sirens warnings are there to appease the silly tourists that now run like hell when a car alarm goes off.

Yo--Phuket is pronounced Puket its is a beautiful resort Island where Lady Diana would go for peace and quite with her young sons at one time.

I suppose the town Crabi would be amusing too. Just 100Km south.

Never really understood the need for tsunami warning systems.

Strong, violent ground shaking isn't enough of a sign?

Lets sound an alarm too and really drive people into a frenzy!

chain em to stakes at high water mark. Their screams would serve as alarm in event of a tsunami!
Nah! Too barbaric and antiquated. This is the electronic age, the inquisition is past. :)

Please use the "new" avatar. Or what ever you want. I was teasing amigo. This thread was about gentle thieves. I wasn't accusing you of being a thief. Just joking.
