For professional designers and sailboat design enthusiasts and for all lovers of sailboats in general :
With a database of more than 400 sailboats, it has proceeded to establish various relationships between the main parameters that define a monohull sailing boat. We have obtained a series of equations that allow, in the very first stage of the project, to have an idea of what the boat in which we are thinking might be. All this has been reflected in an Excel spreadsheet.
Any comments or suggestions will be very appreciated. Thanks for your interest.

(As this website does not allow loading .xlsm files, the spreadsheet has been compressed in a .zip file)

No, I'm sorry, I've never used Open Office. I'll take a look to know it.
However, it should be remembered that in the spreadsheet everyone can access the code and make as many changes as he considers appropriate.

TANSL, something may be wrong with the MAIN Area and P measure. Total Sail Area is OK
What is TDA? You mean Wetted Surface? or maybe Lateral Area?
    Thanks, useful spreadsheet!

Thanks, @quequen. I'll check MAIN area and P measure.
TDA : Total Drift Area (Hull + Keel + Rudder, projected area on longitudinal plane)
