    Nice!

But yea, I wouldn't want to use the water or walk that beach barefoot for a few days!

I'd carry an umbrella when visiting.

All 4 engine d propellor airfcraft has same rotation engines. Which is the critical engine and why?

Left inboard so the plane won't crash.

Right answer wrong reason, which is why a ducks left foot is bigger.

Amazing isnt it? I mean natures response evoluted from engineering advantage.

True for the engines so far, but not necessarily so, and same rotation is most often but not always true for the props on 4 engine propellor aircraft.

See the Airbus A400M Atlas witch has counter-rotating propellers on each wing.

Note the opposite blade form and pitch, top is moving towards to each other.

All engines are the same and rotate in the same direction but the inboard engines have a gearbox to reverse prop rotation.

It's those gearboxes that causes problems*. I would have 2 of the engines counter-rotating, which is cheaper and lighter, and as trade off would have to have both engine types as spares available at service sites, but no gearboxes at all.

    * Hoyt, best warn US Air Force about this, as they have shown interest in 118 units, and let them have counter-rotating engines as a modification. I've advised the same to my government, but they have bought the gearbox versions anyway, ± 2018~20 about 7 into service here.

Frosty, watch the sky in 2015, you might see 4 of them flying south to Malaysia.

    Cheers,
    Angel

Ducks flap -they dont have rotating devices --so if they fly south for the winter world rotation would mean they fly slightly west so the left foot is bigger to offset this.

You would think that a bigger left foot would cause drag and alter course to east but it gives slight lift correcting flight to West--no East errr.

That's odd... my right foot is the larger of the two.

I've noticed recently some signs of webbing starting to grow in.

    What's that all about?
