The Marketplace Forums can be useful for members who know one another well from forum discussions and offline communications and wish to post boatbuilding tools, drafting tools, molds and tooling, and other professional equipment for sale or trade. However, caution and good judgement should always be used. Especially when considering any business with anyone not already well known to you and trusted, due diligence must be used to confirm details and identity and be sure the transaction is safe before any money or property changes hands. Always use good judgement and perform due dilligence and follow these guidelines.

Better places to list finished boats and trailers for sale would probably be http://powerboatlistings.com and http://sailboatlistings.com , unless they are really relevant to designers or boatbuilders (like boat molds for example, which are great to post here.)

P.S. I'm curious - what is the history of the Excalibur?

Thanks for that site. They have some nice stuff there. As for the Excalibur, I bought it a few years ago w/the intention of restoring it. Well, our second child is due any day now and I just don't have the time. The boat is an I/O but the guy I bought it from closed the transom and put an outboard on it with a Gill bracket. The boat is now stripped down being prepped for paint. There is no power or rigging, I intended to replace everything with new equipment. The pics are in the "Classified" section at http://pages.zdnet.com/sharkeymarine
