I'm actually going to be pulling the engine and pump today. I still don't have the manual.

OK, I got the complete pump out and the engine. The impeller was rubbing aginst the pump housing. I'm guessing that a bearing is out. We have a ton of snow here won't mess with anything for a little while. The link that you gave me wouldn't come up, I even tried to type everything in and no go. I called Hamilton, they have a manual but said that I have to buy from a distrubitor(Boatswain Locker). I called them two times before and was told that someone would call me back, no calls. I tried them again Thursday and the guy said that he had never heard of a 772 and it should be a 100 series, BS. He was supposed to have someone else call me, still waiting. tkunch@gmail.com
    Thanks.

sent you an e-mail. Hamilton sends me the .pdf's free, can't understand why your local agent wants to charge you.

Sorry, forgot to get HJ's number for you here in NZ, hope to remember tomorrow

    Speedboats,
I got the link to open, you saved me some real headaches. I took the pump and engine out of the sled this past weekend, the impeller was rubbing the housing. I'm guessing the cause is a bad bearing. Also, the blades were very dull. The next step for me is to look into rebuilding. Thanks for your help.
