    I have a 6hp evinrude fisherman,it has a 2 blade prop.8.25" pitch.
    Would a 9" pitch 3 blade prop off a 7.5 hp evinrude be suitable.It has a 5/8" shaft with a shearpin.
The boat is 14t,fibreglass and is fairly light in weight.

The easy thing is to bolt it on, try it out and see if the engine is pulling the same RPM as before. It should be within a hundred RPM to be the same.

    Hi Par,thanks.

I haven't bought the prop yet,I was trying to find out if it would be suitable before I buy it.
The prop is used, but totally unmarked.
