Just one month until the Van. Meet. Sunday, May 25th at the same location as always with BBQ to follow at shop. I am still looking for ideas for talks. Thinking of roll demo if anyone is willing to volunteer and talking to supplier reps to maybe come and talk about products.

    Rod,
Off topic, but are you in the Vancouver area? Would you have any recommendations checking out or viewing some old wooden boats. I'm just up for the weekend and looking to occupy myself. Thx

We don't really have any large wooden boat center, but you might want to go to the Britannia Heritage Shipyard in Steveston (located on mouth of Fraser River in Richmond -suburb of Vancouver). It is run by mostly volunteers so check out any schedule at http://www.richmond.ca/culture/sites/britannia/about.htm
You may also see some working old fishboats in Steveston
You may also drop by my shop in Port Moody. I am in all weekend. Give me a call for more info at 604 312 4784
