    Safest place for those boats isnt it, nicely tied up in a marina out of harms way with protection on 3 sides?

    Actually that marina is protected on all sides, but that is only the beginning of your ignorance on the topic.

    RHP before you throw stones, sit down next to Robin Knox-Johnston at the bar and have a pint. Think about what he has done, as a man, and for the sport.
    It will change your perspective.
    The evolution of single handed sailing since Suhaili has been incredible. Grey Power has 50000 miles under her keel, attesting to her fitness. Cheminees Poujoulat, the leader, is well designed and built. Were it not so she would not be the fastest, after sailing the world, after being salvaged.
    Too bad they stayed in, in a sense, but it is still a storm against the gulf stream out there. The reasons for the decision to delay are obvious....
