4m single handed keel boat

    I have continued to work on my own version.
    Inspired by the JS9000 and Martin 16 and off course the boat in the pics above which is very close to what I want to acheive.
    LOA 4.5m
    beam 850mm
    SA 10m2
    ballast 100kg
    total displ incl 100kg crew 300kg

    looks real slippery. would an inboard rudder create less drag?

    I am a design student and I have been doing some research on women who design boats, yachts, etc. I was wondering if you ever happened to get in contact with Juliane Hempel or if perhaps you know of any other female designers. Thanks
