Hi! I am considering purchase of a 29' LOA 8"6" beam power cat of aluminum. The boat was reportedly custom built several years ago. The hulls on this cat are totally flat....they have no "v" or dead rise to them. That seems very odd to me compared to other cats that I've looked at. My question is if anyone could tell me how this boat would perform off shore in heavy seas? For that matter at any speeds or sea conditions? It is powered by twin 200 OB. I have detailed measurements of the hulls if that would help anyone with answering my questions. Thanks

Here are some pics. They show the transom of the tunnel, left and right side of the right hull. The outboard bracket is attached to the transom of the hull. The width of the hull is 24" at the transom and continues towards the bow at that width. After 4 feet it begans to taper at about 2 inches per 4 ft of hull for the next 8 feet, than it tapers at 4 inches per 4 feet. As you can see it gets real skinny near the bow, and the flat bottom section completely disappears. Also the hull depth gets greater as you move from the transom toward the bow. Starting at 17 inches at the transom and gaining 2 1/2 inches every 4 feet for the first 12 feet, than only 1 inch per 4 feet after that.
