40ft catamaran blue print

    Does anyone know of a blue print on how to build a 40ft catamaran put of plywood and fiberglass.

    Welcome to the Forum Daisy.

    There are many plans available on the internet for building catamarans around 40 ft in length - but you will have to pay the designer a reasonable fee to buy a set of plans, as a lot of time, effort and expertise will have gone into drawing these plans.

    Google is your friend here - I typed in "40' plywood catamaran boat plans for sale" and many interesting links came up.

    Including a link for Richard Woods' designs - I mention these because I have met Richard, and he is a very experienced sailor and catamaran designer, and really 'knows his stuff'.

    If you are looking for a manual on how to build a 40 plywood catamaran, there are many good books available online, and the Builder's plans will usually have fairly comprehensive instructions (but they do assume that you have the capability, experience and tools necessary to build the boat).
