    FPT engine

    Hi Lobsterman 1966

I can do you a trade deal on an FPT (Fiat Powertrain) N60 370 - 6 litre 370hp.

FPT are a range of diesels to 865hp developed as a joint venture between Ford, Fiat and Cummins. By taking the best ideas from each manufacturer they have created a state of the art range of engines that are reliable, quiet, clean and very cost effective. Importantly they comply with current and future emissions regulations.

Discounted price for the 370 is £13,950 ex factory ex vat.

If you would like further information on this or any other FPT engine please do not hesitate to contact me

    Thank you

    Mark

    "Currently has 360hp installed."

But you may not be using a very large percentage of that power even at full throttle.

What is your running home FUEL CONSUMPTION? Are you going thru 20 gph?

How interested are you in "ultimate " fuel efficiency , compared to service life ?

Most likely longest service life will be a non turbo mechanically injected engine, for lowest fuel burn a high pressure fuel common rail (30,000psi) with electronic controls and a variable output turbo .

Can a tier II engine beat the BSFC of an old medium speed diesel when you are talking say 250-500hp?
