Great pictures of their two foiling AC 45's. Don't get why they have such big gaps under the wing and jib?

Dough Do you know if there are design restrictions to the use of Graphene in the coming cup? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graphene extremely strong but extremely expensive since production has not started yet. (As far as I know)

    35th America's Cup on Foils--foil tacking

This is a tactic developed in 34 that will be the basis of every tack you see in the races leading up to 35 and in the 35th Cup races. This is an excellent video by Jack Griffin describing how TNZ taught Team USA and then Team USA used what they learned to crush TNZ when it counted:

Wand controlled T foils SHOULD eliminate that problem WHEN we can get them foiling upwind.

    Soft wingsail

"If you try to make an unstayed soft sail, then the mast will have to have a thickness similar to that of the wing. To make it aerodynamic it will then also have to have a similar chord, in which case the soft part of the sail rig becomes pointless."

There is a whole thread on this site that proves you wrong. Just google boatdesign.net Tystie .
