Sorry for bringing this up, .... ... again..

I have looked about the net and this site and cannot find much.
So, can anyone point me towards 2d marine cad blocks.
In particular i am looking for things like
bridge instruments, deck hardware, lights, hospitality etc (for a 30m longliner).

2d marine cad blocks seem to be a bit elusive judging by the lack of reply to other similiar requests... ?

    anyway thanks ,

    Rob

Rob most CAD programmes can generate 2D drawings from 3D models.

    bhnautika, thanks for the reply.

Yes that is true. However the 2d drawings created usually need a bit of editing to make them appropriate. Also, there is still the issue of finding suitable cad models to start with.
I will be using the blocks for a conceptual General Arrangement, so absolute accuracy is not the aim. An indication of what goes where my intention.

(another thought - why spend an hour or 2 drawing blocks when i could spend hours more trying to find them for free on the 'net? :)
