25 foot 7.5m Drua research

Looking at maybe doing a Dura type proa with longer hull and sails on the 7.5m hull. Any info on this type of vessel?

I tried googling 'Dura proa' but nothing came up - could you tell us a bit more about the 'standard' (I presume) Dura proa with a 7.5 m hull please?

You are talking of drua. Your best bet would be Gary Dierking, he gathered a lot of info on traditional pacific craft and built many. Google his blog, there is plenty info on it

The smaller boats are usually camakous, a long hull with the rig and steering on it, a short hull for hiking on.
Drua I think this is what you are referring to. An interesting article at https://www.fijijournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Sailing-the-Camakau.pdf. Unfortunately, all of these boats have rotted away since then
