For Sale: I've been working on a 12' male canoe mold using the techniques described in Sam Rizzetta's Canoe and Kayak Building the Light and Easy Way and James Moran's Building Your Kevlar Canoe. The stations are taken from the Dragonfly solo canoe in the former but the construction method was mostly taken from the later. The mold is made from plywood stations covered in foam strips covered in plaster. The mold is attached to a 15" strongback with wheels. You can search for "Canoe Mold" on Craigslist in the Birmingham area to see pictures. You are welcome to ask any questions or come by to see it if you are in central Alabama. Thanks.
