I have committed myself to the construction of a 21' Carolina flared hull with a center console configuration. I want to use the plank on frame method with Doug Fir for frames and Western Red Cedar for planking. I am considering round chine vs hard chine to simplify construction. I can provide basic lines drawings, scantlings, etc. I need a Naval Architect to review and tweak my concept drawings, calculate CB, calculate waterline, design locations for lifting strakes, digitally fair, and produce offsets for lofting and construction. If anyone on this forum is an Architect or knows one who is familiar with the Carolina style, I would appreciate an opportunity to discuss fees. Feel free to PM me.
