This year is the 25th edition of the race. A combined sailing/running up mountains race modelled along the same concept as the UK race. My personal favourite is the 46' Chris White catamaran of MYCV commodore Charles Meredith lots of recent mods underwater with the removal of the minikeels and new sail wardrobe. The new competitor in the multihulls is New Howrah Pharmacy this is the repaired and modified Grainger racing catamaran formerly known as "Cynophobe". A rundown of the boats competing can be found on their page here

It's a tough break for them particularly since they had such a good race to this point, sounds from the reports like they had a failure in the steering system. Conditions have not been too bad this race really compared to the pounding that was dished out to the fleet last year.

Euphoria Furniture a Chamberlain design catamaran skippered by Steven Arms is currently leading the race and the multihull division in Three Peaks Race with the monohull Advantedge not far astern.

The Chamberlain designed Euphoria Furniture catamaran team were first to dock just 30 minutes ahead of the next boat the monohull Advantedge. The runners are now on the mountain.
