CAROUTE S400-48V stainless motor equips with this Madness Pacific Proa. It is 31ft Sailboat, has 2 asymmetric hulls ( a larger main hull and a smaller outrigger), and weighs 650 kg.
S400 is used as main traction motor at the center of force on the boat, it's working like a long tail motor which can be lifted when sailing.
This 2.7KW stainless motor will do 6.5 knots at 2.5 kW on the main s400 traction motor with standard 3 blade propeller in Gulf of Thailand.

A S150-48V 1KW stainless motor will be mounted on the outrigger hull for differential steering at low speeds since the rudder loses authority at low speeds.
