    Hi,

Im just about to start in on my project boat and I was wondering if there was a better option for 2:1 mix epoxies in bulk. I know the Marinepoxy from boat builder central and Raka are the same product. I was wondering if anyone knew of a place that sells the same stuff in larger containers than gallons? I think I’m going to need upwards of 50 gallons for my build. I’d love to just have a drum of the stuff. Looks like I should have started a year or two ago, epoxy looks to be up 50% in that time.

yes, I’m sticking with 2:1. I have a simple brain and I need it for other pondering besides not messing up mix ratios. I also have one of them pump thingys that’s setup for 2:1.

    thanks
    Jason

Nobody sells 50 gal epoxy retail.
Nobody sells only 50 gal wholesale.

Find a small composite fabricator in your neighborhood. Ask them to bump up their weekly order.

I like how you put that, very clear, makes total sense to me.

    Thanks

    DogCavalry I aim to misbehave.

I got a 55 gallon drum of resin from Noah's Marine in Toronto. Came on a pallet in about a week. @fallguy recommended them.

Another thing to do is talk with the vendor and ask for volume pricing. I used like 300 gallons of epoxy, 25% to scrap, like 2000 pounds epoxy in my foam build...30 grand..

I love the description. Good for concrete surfacing, epoxy bonded mortar repair, concrete repair. Also wood too, like boats. I wonder if it cures baldness as well. I'm asking for a friend...

Thanks all. I just went ahead and ordered a bunch of the epoxy I am familiar with. I have 600lbs if supplies showing up next week. That should be a good start.
