We recently mounted a @1968 Johnson Seahorse 7.5 on our Catalina 27' sailboat. We've only tested it once ( worked great, easily pushes the boat as fast as the Atomic 4 she replaced!), but, when I attempted to flush the salt water out with an earmuff-style flushing tool, I realized that it wasn't the right tool. The water intake is on the plate just above the prop. West Marine didn't have the proper tool, and I haven't had much luck searching online...anybody have any ideas?
