i have a 1979 with a very bad repair job on the ballist keel to hull.
i mean finshing cloth and air bubbles the size of my foot.
so bad that i can't find the seam. all the sail boats that i have worked on have had a seam where the hull joins up with the ballist keel. i have been told that thay have a bolt on keel and i have been told that thay are glassed over. i did a little grinding to remove air bubbles and i hav zero to 1/8'' thick glass where i think the seam should be. any instght out there?
