    Hey,

OK, I'm building a 2.4 turbo diesel 18.5' Glastron at the moment. This is my first ever boat build. :)

So far, I've just ripped the boat back to it's shell. I tool out all the old floor, stingers etc.I'm about to mount the engine, lay the floor etc.

I've already got the fibreglass and plywood for the floor, but need stringers. What kin of timber should I use?

Whats the best way to taper the stringers are they get narrower at the front of the boat?

Also, should the finaly floor be bonded to the stringers, in addition to the perimeter.

    Thanks

    Conor
