Im the new owner of a 1968 Hedley Nicol 35' TriWanderer (longfloat).
Does anyone have any plans available or aware of where I might be able to obtain some.
Any information into design and build would be muchly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Davo

A vague lead. On the Boatdesign net threads there was a guy "cavalier mk2" who had a good knowledge of Hedley Nichol boats and plan information. He was from the Pacific North West in USA. I do not know if he still contactable as the last entry I am aware of is 2017. Just checked, still posting May 2025, you could try a direct mail to him.

Still here, welcome to the forum Davo, congratulations on your Wanderer.
Proofreading oldmultis typos was too exhausting to contemplate so I don't post much. (Nicol, no h. Planing, one n.) Just teasing, I'm just busy these days.
I still am sailing the Vagabond and connecting with Nicol owners, great cruising boats.
I don't have Wanderer plans, the Nicol family does if you can get access. Try Alan? Lex, Hedley's nephew died recently which is a sadness.
Anyhow there are long winding Nicol threads on boat design, look them up and read through, lots of info there. You can PM me anytime or post and I'll get back to you.

I don't give a hoot about Oldmulti's typo's, but will be forever grateful for the extensive multihull information he has compiled over the years. I have found "Multihull Structure Thoughts" to be a very helpful library and he deserves credit for it.

Of course he does Russell. A good overview is nice to have.
    Humorre has it's place too.

    Hello Davo,
I saw that boat online and the structure looks stock. For rebuilding areas you should be fine using the scantlings/dimensions of what you have. Dimensions were imperial, not metric on everything. Ply, timber etc....
