Hi - I'm trying to keep track of existing Ravens and would love to know more information about your boat. Thanks, Jan McAleer

The boat came with a previous handwritten add from maybe the 80's, Whoever was selling it said the #34, but it also came with an owner's manual that listed the current Ravens, their owners, and boat names. In the owner's manual #36 was circled. The sailbag says #34. Surprisingly, the boat doesn't have a plaque of any sort so it remains a mystery.

I know this is an old thread, but I would love to know what you have figured out! The Raven came with an original owner's/club manual, which details a large list of owner names, boat names, and numbers. If this message finds you, I can send some photos of the booklet.

What I said above details it, I am unsure of the hull number; its either #34 or #36

The sail bag might be a clue or it might be a red herring. Are there no sources of information regarding hull numbers or even older sailors who might remember the colour the boat was painted? It is quite plausible that the sailbag could have been donated by somebody who had suffered mouse damage to the sails that the bag was intended for, just as it is possible that the number in the manual was for a boat that has been destroyed. Are there no owners who might be able to guide you regarding such things as a hull number stamped on a deckbeam?
