Her name is/was originally Faith, later Araner, designed in 1926 by Jack Hanna. Hanna claimed it was his largest version of Slocum's Spray. She was built in Gloucester Massachusetts and is 97' on deck and 85' LWL, beam is 24' and designed draft 10'. Displacement was 170 tons and sail area about 4500 sq ft in the lowers. After launching she sailed to San Francisco in 100 days and was later owned by movie director John Ford. She did coastal defense during WWII and I have an idea may have been lost somewhere in the south seas......
