15’ Starcraft transom layup

I put a 6oz layer of cloth on my transom then put it in place, used peanut butter around the corners, then used 6oz cloth to tab it in I put 2 more layers of tabbing but this time I used 12 oz biaxial cloth with each layer going 2” past the last one. Is this enough? Is the more important thing the tabbing rather than covering the transom? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I’m itching to put the stringers in. The transom is 2 3/4” sheets of marine grade plywood epoxied together. I’m using west system epoxy and I have an outboard 85 Johnson that weighs about 300lbs

6 and 12 oz cloth is not enough to strengthen a transom. You need to use 1708 biaxial. 6oz cloth is pretty much cosmetic. Depending
On where you live most place dont retial 1708 so youll need to order online unless your in florida. Your going in the right direction with epoxy just dont waste it on 6oz or even 12 oz cloth.

I had ordered 1700 12 oz cloth from Toronto. I used 3 layers of that I’m woundering if I should do a 4th or call it good?
